Frances, in her 92nd year, passed away on 7th May 2026, peacefully, surrounded by family, in the wonderful care of the staff at St. Columba’s Hospital, Thomastown. Beloved wife of the late Jimmy Griffiths. Frances will be sadly missed by her daughter Liz, son Robbie, daughter-in-law Denise, cherished granddaughter Ella, her brothers and sisters, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Fay passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family, in the wonderful care of the staff at Kilkenny Care Centre. Pre-deceased by her beloved husband Francis and her grandson Mark.
Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her loving children – Fiona, Shane, Mandy, Lisa, Anny, Richie and Tanya; sister – Leonie, sons-in-law and daughter-in-law – Paul, Tommy, Trevor, Roger and Eugenie, brother-in-law – David, sisters-in-law – Margaret, Carmel and Joan, cherished 20 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Predeceased by his parents Tim and Alice and his brother-in-law Timmy. Deeply regretted by his wife Ann, daughter Ciara, son Enda and their spouses John and Rose, grandchildren Eabha, Fiadh, Lily and Odhran, sisters Margaret, Maura and PatricIa, brothers-in-law , sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

The death has occurred of Liam (Towser) Challoner of Marshes Street, Thomastown Co Kilkenny. Liam passed away peacefully on Tuesday morning in the care of the staff in ICU and the Suir Ward of St Luke’s Hospital Kilkenny, surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his parents Danny and Elizabeth and sisters Mary and Francie. Sadly missed by his wife Laura, brother Sean, children Ray, Darren, Barry, Amanda, Kevin and Niall and their partners, grandchildren Ben, Laura, Aoibhe, Lucy, Jack, Tom, Paddy, Ella, Marley, Joey and Rhea, extended family and many friends.
Reposing in the Mercy Side Chapel, Church of the Assumption, Thomastown from 4pm to 7pm on Friday 10th April pausing for prayers at 6.30pm. Requiem mass at 11am on Saturday 11th April in the main chapel followed by burial in St Mary’s New Cemetery, Thomastown, Co Kilkenny.
