The death has occurred of Patrick (Paddy) Morrin Kilfane, Thomastown, Kilkenny / Clonbur, Galway
July 3, 2024

Patrick passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, 3rd July 2024 in the loving care of his family. Pre-deceased by his wife Vera; brothers: Jim, Michael and Tommy; sisters: Bridget and Kathleen; nephews: Michael and John. Paddy is deeply regretted and will be sadly missed by his son John, daughters Olive and Maria (Murphy), son-in-law Jimmy, grand-daughter Helen, sister Mary, sisters-in-law Josie and Betty, brother-in-law Charlie, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

The death has occurred of Kathleen (Kay ) Minogue (née Heneberry) Coppenagh, Thomastown, Kilkenny
June 7, 2024

Kay died peacefully on 7th June 2024 at home. Kay was recently deceased by her loving husband Jim and Predeceased by her brother Jimmy. Kay is deeply missed by her loving daughter Alice, son-in-law Mick Flynn, adored grandchildren Caoimhe, Sean and Zoe, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and a wide group of relatives, neighbours and friends.

Kay and Jim’s family would like to thank the local public health nursing care team, Kilkenny Home Care team and the fabulous group of carers for all their support and kindness.

MAY KAY REST IN PEACE.   Reposing at her residence (R95AW61) from 4pm on Thursday with vigil prayers at 7pm. (In the interest of safety a one way system will operate with thoes wishing to call please enter from Clossgregg and exit from Mongmacody Cross). Arriving for 11am requiem mass on Friday in the Church of the Assumption, Thomastown followed by burial in Calvery Cemetery Graiguenamanagh.


The death has occurred of Anna Maher (née Ryan) Jerpoint West, Thomastown, Kilkenny

The death has taken place of Anna Maher (née Ryan), Jerpoint West, Thomastown, Co Kilkenny, peacefully, in the care of the staff of Kilkenny Care Centre, Newpark, Kilkenny, 2nd June 2024.

Predeceased by her mother Eileen, sister Mary, grandchild Kyle, grandmother Maggie Ryan, uncles Neddy and Martin, aunts Mary, Kathleen and Peggy, cousin Maura.

Sadly missed by her loving husband Jim, sons Paul and Peter, grandchildren Jaegar, Lauren, Reis, Shauna and Jordan, great-grandchildren Jenson and Myla, daughters-in-law Debbie and Sharon, brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews, extended family and great neighbours and friends.

Reposing in the Mercy Side Chapel, Church of the Assumption, Thomastown, from 5.30pm to 7pm on Monday, pausing for Vigil prayers at 6.30pm. Requiem Mass on Tuesday at 11am in the Church of the Assumption, Thomastown, followed by burial in St Mary’s New Cemetery, Thomastown.

The death has occurred of James (Jimmy) Burris formerly of Dangan Terrace, Thomastown, Kilkenny

Jimmy passed away peacefully on Saturday, 1st June, at Gowran Abbey Nursing Home, Gowran, Co. Kilkenny, where he received exceptional care. Pre-deceased by his parents Jack and Bridie, his sister Mary, her husband John (Canavan) and sister-in-law Mary Prendergast. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his loving family: brothers Maurice and John, sister-in-law Valerie, nephews Tom, Maurice, John and Óran, niece Áine, his best friend Kathleen, extended family, relatives and friends.

May Jimmy Rest in Peace.

Reposing in The Mercy Side Chapel of The Church of the Assumption, Thomastown, on Tuesday, 4th June, from 5pm to 7pm with Rosary and Vigil Prayers at 6.30pm. Requiem Mass on Wednesday at 11am in the Church of The Assumption, Thomastown, followed by interment in St. Mary’s New Cemetery, Thomastown, Co Kilkenny.
