And late of Friar’s Hill, Thomastown, Co. Kilkenny. Passed away peacefully at home on the 6th April in the loving presence of his wife Miriam. Beloved, adored and best friend of his wife Miriam, son of Mary. Paul will be very sadly missed by his wife, mother, his best friend Mosh and all his large circle of friends, the extended Hamilton family in Thomastown, Co. Kilkenny and all of Miriam’s family, (the Murphy Family, Johnstown, Arklow).

Reposing at Murphy’s Funeral Home, The Avenue, Gorey (Y25 K122) on Friday 11th April from 4 p.m. until 7.30 p.m. Removal from Murphy’s Funeral Home on Saturday 12th April at 12.45 p.m. to St. David’s Church, Johnstown arriving for Funeral Mass at 1.30 p.m. followed by Burial in Ballycoogue Cemetery.

Anne Minogue (née Doyle),
Bawnskeha, Thomastown, Co. Kilkenny.
Anne passed away peacefully at St. Columba’s Hospital on 6th April 2025.
Predeceased by her beloved husband, Eddie, her brother Pat, her sister Maureen, and other beloved close relatives. RIP.
Deeply loved and missed by her daughters, Majella and Louise; her son, Seamus; her sons-in-law, Cormac and William; her daughter-in-law, Susan; her 11 cherished grandchildren: Muireann, Aoibhinn, Sinéad, Joseph, Liam, Niamh, Meabh, Cáit, Aoife, Ella, and Olwyn.
Lovingly remembered by her sisters-in-law, Kathleen and Anne; brothers-in-law, John and PJ; nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours, friends, her wonderful carers, and the caring staff of St. Columba’s.

Reposing in The Mercy Chapel, The Church of the Assumption, Thomastown, on Tuesday, 8th April, from 3:30 pm, concluding with prayers at 6:30 pm.
Removal from Bawnskeha to arrive for Requiem Mass on Wednesday, 9th April at 11am at The Church of the Assumption, Thomastown,
followed by burial in St. Mary’s Cemetery.


The death has occurred of Bernard Grogan Castle Avenue, Thomastown, Kilkenny

Bernard passed away peacefully on Thursday, 20 March 2025 at St Luke’s General Hospital Kilkenny surrounded by his loving family. Bernie is predeceased by his parents Kevin and Anastasia, sisters Sadie and Eileen, brother John, brother-in-law Dick, sister-in-law Ann and Paul. Bernie is deeply regretted and forever missed by his loving wife Kathleen (Forristal), daughters Orla and Lorraine, sons Bernard and Alan, daughters-in-law Yvonne and Ailish, son-in-law Terry, grand-children Jamie, Aaron, Abi, Keisha, Xavier, Alexia and great-grand-daughter Penelope, sisters Noeleen, Katherine, Teresa and Madge, brothers Frank and Ger, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

The death has taken place of James O’Neill, Ballinamona, Knocktopher, Co. Kilkenny in his 93rd year, peacefully at St Luke’s Hospital Kilkenny, surrounded by his loving family, 8th March 2025.

Predeceased by his wife Nancy, brothers Thomas and John Joe, sisters Alice and Katie. James will be sadly missed by his sons Seamus, Noel and Liam, grandchildren Caoimhe, Hollie, Ciarán, Áine, Brian and Shane, daughters-in-law Treasa, Olivia and Bridget, Brother-in-law Willie O’Keeffe, sister-in-law Maura O’Neill (Inistioge), Nieces and Nephews, extended family, friends and good neighbours.

Reposing in the Mercy Side Chapel, Church of the Assumption Thomastown from 5pm on Monday, Concluding with prayers at 7pm. Requiem Mass on Tuesday in the main Chapel at 11am followed by burial in St Mary’s New cemetery Thomastown Co Kilkenny.
