Formerly of Davris, Hollymount, Co. Mayo.

Following a short illness, Bridie died peacefully at University Hospital Waterford on Monday, 16 February.

Predeceased by her parents Michael & Mary Delia Connolly, husband Billy, her brothers Joe, Séan and Patrick, sister-in-law Ita and nephew John. Deeply regretted by her loving family – her sisters: Kitty, Freddie, Mary and Teresa, her brothers: Miko and Willie, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, grand nieces, grand nephews, cousins, friends, neighbours and carers.

The death has taken place of Mary Waugh nee Daly, Station road, Thomastown Co Kilkenny peacefully at St Luke’s Hospital Kilkenny surrounded by her loving family. 14th February 2026.

Predeceased by her daughter Ann, Brothers and Sisters and her parents Paddy and Tessie. Sadly missed by her husband Christy, sons Johnny, Allen, David and Ian, daughters Christine and Carmel, Grandchildren, Great-grandchildren, Brothers Paddy, Mick, Brendan and Frank, Nieces and Nephews, extended family and many friends.

MAY MARY REST IN PEACE

In accordance with her wishes, Mary has donated her body to Medical Science at Trinty College, Dublin. A final act of generosity that will contribute to the education of future Doctors and the advancement of Medical Knowledge.

There will be no funeral at this time. A funeral mass and burial will take place at a later date, when Mary is returned to her family.

A message of sympathy can be left by using the condolence option below. Mary’s family would like to invite friends and neighbors to join them at O’Hara’s on Saturday 21st February from 5pm.

Sadly missed by his Partner Maggie Parker, his son and daughter in law Sean and Stephanie, his daughter Kerry and family, grandchildren Kirsty, Sean and Jake, Brothers and Sister, extended family in Castlecomer, neighbours and his beloved dog Rosie.

Willie, in his 91st year, passed away peacefully on Friday, 13th February 2026, surrounded by his family, at St. Luke’s Hospital, Kilkenny. Predeceased by his wife Alice (née O’Neill), brother Paddy and sister Breda (Delaney).
