Eoin passed away peacefully on 18th December 2024, surrounded by his family and in the wonderful care of the staff at Our Lady’s Hospice, Harold’s Cross. Dearest husband of Ailbhe and much-loved dad of Ethan and David. Eoin and his kindness, courage and humour will be dearly and lovingly missed by his wife, sons, brothers and sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in law, nieces, nephews, dear friends and extended family. Eoin was predeceased by his parents, Enda and Jack Corr.

Best grandad in the world to Charlie, Guy, Poesie, Pia, Roman, Ava, Jimmy, Lottie, Madison and Ryan. (Formerly of St Leonard’s, Wexford) Peter, (Pierre/Pip) passed away peacefully surrounded by the love and care of his family, after an illness bravely borne. Peter is pre-deceased by his parents John and Gertrude and sister Bernadette. Sorely missed by his heartbroken sons Emmet and J, their mother Dolores (Roche), his twin sister Moll (O’Hanlon) her husband Pat, their daughters Tarah and Alice, brothers Liam and Jack, sisters Claire, Kate and Trudy, sisters-in-law Carmel and Geraldine; brothers-in-law Ned and Roy, nieces, nephews, relatives and his many friends.

Reposing at the Mercy Side Chapel in the Church of the Assumption, Thomastown, R95YP97 from 3pm to 6pm with Vigil Prayers at 5.30pm on Sunday, 15 December. Funeral Mass in the main chapel at 11am on Monday, 16 December. A private cremation will take place at a later date.

The death has taken place of Patrick (Paddy) Skehan, 18 Newtown Tce, Thomastown, Co Kilkenny, peacefully at his residence. 3rd December 2024. Beloved husband of the late Nancy, predeceased by his brothers Tom, Frank, Tony and Michael. Much loved father of Pat, Anne, John and Dermot, grandfather to Stephanie, Conor, Darragh, Niall, Shane, Mark, Jack and Luke, great grandfather to Kayleigh and Ellie. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his family, son-in-law Paul, Sisters-in-law Gretta, Bridgie and Jo, nieces and nephews, cousins, extended family Monica, Eithna, Catherine and Maria and his many good friends and neighbours. Chrissie is predeceased by her beloved daughter Vanessa (McGarry), parents Joseph and Anna Challoner, brothers Bobby and Joe and sisters Sheila (Delaney) and Marie. The death has taken place of Anna Hoban (nee Kelly) Closgregg, Thomastown, Co. Kilkenny and formerly of Station Road Thomastown.
Anna passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on the 10th of November at St Luke’s Hospital, Kilkenny.
Predeceased by her husband Greggie (Gregory). Anna will be sadly missed by her children Mai, Patricia, Larry and Joe, her son-in-law Paul, daughters-in-law Mary and Mags, her grandchildren Evan, Rebecca and her husband Willie, Joanne, Adam and his partner Katie, Laura, Gregg, Mike and Jilly, her great granddaughter Abbie, nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and neighbours.
Reposing in the Mercy side chapel, Church of the Assumption, Thomastown, Co. Kilkenny, from 5pm to 8pm on Monday the 11th of November 2024. Prayers at 7.30pm. Requiem mass on Tuesday the 12th of November at 11am in the Church of the Assumption Thomastown followed by burial in St Mary’s New Cemetery Thomastown.
Anna’s family would like to thank the staff in both the Surgical Medical Unit, St Luke’s Hospital, Kilkenny and Castlecomer District Hospital for their great care and kindness.
