Jim died on Monday, 3 November peacefully at his home surrounded by his family. Beloved husband of Teresa, and a wonderful dad to Elaine, John, Ann, Clodagh and Dawn. A proud and loving grandad to Craig, Shannon, Orla, Ciara, Colm, Darragh, Molly, Jimmy, Donnacha, Fáinche, Dearbhla, Aoibhe, Ria and Jaime, who brought him so much joy. Sisters Mary, Kathleen and Margaret, sons-in-law James, Brian, John and Derek, daughter-in-law Andrea, his brothers-in-law Paddy, Ron, David, Michael, Pat, John and Martin, sisters-in-law Anne, Nollaig and Imelda, nieces, nephews, neighbours and friends. A man of great charm and quick humour, who could light up any room. He leaves behind a lifetime of laughter, love and unforgettable memories.

Sean died peacefully on Sunday, 2nd November at St Luke’s Hospital, Kilkenny after a long illness. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his loving family: wife Helen, daughters: Edel and Catriona, sons: Andrew and Shane, sons-in-law, daughter-in-law, grandchildren, sisters, sister-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Frances died peacefully at home on Friday, 24 October. She is pre-deceased by her husband Stephen and sister Mary. Frances is deeply missed by her daughter Denise; sons: Daniel, Joe, Colm and Stephen; son-in-law Bill; daughters-in-law: Maria and Edelle; grandchildren: Danny, Katie, Liam, Cormac, Donnacha, Hazel, Luke, Grace, James and Frances; brothers: Liam and Seán; brother-in-law Jimmy; sisters-in-law: Lily, Laura and Margaret; extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at her daughter Denise’s home in Pleberstown, Thomastown (R95 K446) on Tuesday, 28th October from 3pm to 8pm with Rosary and Vigil Prayers at 7pm. Removal on Wednesday morning to the Church of the Assumption, Thomastown to arrive for 11am Requiem Mass followed by interment in St Mary’s New Cemetery, Thomastown, Co Kilkenny.


The death has occurred of Valerie O'Reilly (née Crossley) Noreview Crescent, Thomastown, Kilkenny

Valerie died peacefully on Friday, 24 October at St Columba’s Hospital, Thomastown in the loving care of the Matron and Staff.

She was wife of the late Kevin. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her loving daughter Ann; brothers: Brian, Robert and Dermot; nieces and nephew; brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, extended family and friends.

Reposing in St Columba’s Hospital Chapel, Thomastown from 6pm to 7pm on Monday with Vigil Prayers at 6.30pm. Requiem Mass at 11am on Tuesday in St Columba’s Hospital Chapel followed by interment in St Mary’s New Cemetery, Thomastown, Co Kilkenny.

The death has taken place of Ger (Geraldine) Power née Hoban, Carrickmourne, Thomastown, Co. Kilkenny and formerly of Dangan Tce., Thomastown, peacefully at her home with her loving family. Predeceased by her parents Peggy and Larry Hoban. Sadly missed by her husband Richie, son Cliff, daughter Natasha, grandchildren Calvin, Bailey, Finn and Evie, brother Lar Hoban, sisters Mary and Margaret, son-in-law Sean Redmond and daughter-in-law Christine Power, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Predeceased by his brothers Jim, William and Paddy, his sister Ellen and his parents Bill and Mary. Sadly missed by his brother Percy, sister Josie (Lannon) Nieces and nephews, grand nieces and nephews, extended family and friends.
