The death has taken place of John Sherlock, Brownsbarn, Thomastown, Co. Kilkenny and formerly of Birr, Co. Offaly on the 3rd of November 2026, peacefully at his residence surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his brothers Mario, Michael, his sister-in-law Helen, and his Parents Maura and John (Boyce). Sadly missed by his wife Maureen, son Michael, daughter Rachel and brother David (Australia), niece Rebecca (Cardiff) and nephew James (New York), extended family, neighbours, friends and colleagues in Glanbia.

Reposing in the Mercy side Chapel, Church of The Assumption, Thomastown from 3pm to 7pm on Thursday 5th November, pausing for rosary and vigil prayers at 6pm. Requiem mass on Friday 6th November in the main Chapel at 12,00 midday. Cremation service at 11.15am on Saturday 7th November in the Garden Chapel, Mount Jerome Crematorium, Dublin.
