The death has occurred of Martin Morrissey,Burrells Park, Station Road, Thomastown, Kilkenny. Martin died peacefully at home on Thursday, 18 April after an illness bravely borne, in the loving care of his family, supported throughout by his carers and medical teams. Beloved husband of Rose and much loved father of Michael, Brian, Rosemary, Barry and the late Martin; brother of the late Josie, Anna, John and Paddy. He is deeply regretted and sadly missed by his wife and family, daughter-in-law Bernie, grandchildren David, Clodagh and Gareth, sisters Mary and Ellen, brother Dick, nieces, nephews, in-laws, relatives and friends. May Martin Rest in Peace. Reposing at his home (R95 T8X9) from 4 pm to 8 pm Sunday, 21 April with Rosary at 7.30 pm. Requiem Mass at 11 am on Monday in the Church of the Assumption, Thomastown followed by interment in St. Mary’s New Cemetery, Thomastown, Co. Kilkenny.
