The Cemetery Mass traditionally takes place at St. Mary’s Cemetery on the Friday of the August Bank Holiday. With the threat of the Corona virus it will not be held this year. Fr. Dan will bless the graves on Friday. Let’s remember all laid to rest there, and especially those whose mortal remains were laid to rest since our last Cemetery Mass. Call over next weekend and say a prayer there – and also take the time to tidy up the grave, if it needs it. The graves around yours – if there aren’t family members to look after them, you might lend a hand. And please, take away weeds, old wreaths, etc.
