Willie, in his 91st year, passed away peacefully on Friday, 13th February 2026, surrounded by his family, at St. Luke’s Hospital, Kilkenny. Predeceased by his wife Alice (née O’Neill), brother Paddy and sister Breda (Delaney).

Willie will be sadly missed by his loving family – daughters: Breda (O’Shea) and Margaret (Power), sons: Michael, Tom and Billy, sons-in-law: Tom and John, daughters-in-law: Mairead, Deirdre and Sharon, his grandchildren: Liam, Niamh, Ailís, Seán, James, Billy, Caoimhe, David, Sinéad, Orla, Dearbhail, Róisín, Éanna, Ciara, Marie and Billy, his brother John, sister-in-law Berry, nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and neighbours.
