Michael died at St James’ Hospital, Dublin on Wednesday, 30th August 2023.  Deeply regretted by his son Robert, daughter-in-law Mary, grandchildren Kevin and Eimear, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at the Mercy Side Chapel of the Church of the Assumption, Thomastown from 4pm to 7pm on Sunday, 3rd September. Requiem Mass on Monday, 4th September, in the Church of the Assumption at 11am followed by interment in St Mary’s New Cemetery, Thomastown, Co Kilkenny.  Click here to view Michael’s Requiem Mass.

The family wishes to extend a special thank you to all members of staff in St Columba’s Hospital, Thomastown; Naas General Hospital; Midland Hospital, Tullamore and St James’ Hospital, Dublin for their care and compassion in taking care of Michael. A further thank you to Dr A Schlunke and all the ancillary staff at the Primary Care Centre, Thomastown.
