John passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, 26 September 2023 at his home. He was predeceased by his parents Peter and Frances (nee O’Brien).  Beloved husband of Gillian and loving father of: Ciara, David, Mark and Peter. He is deeplly regretted and will be sadly missed by his heartbroken family; his daughter-in-law Nicole, adored grandchildren: Ciarán and Caoimhe; sisters: Margaret and Frances; brothers: Tom and David; brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at his home R95 PK65 from 4pm to 8pm on Friday, 29 September, with Rosary and Vigil Prayers at 7pm. (House private at all other times).  Removal on Saturday morning to The Church of the Assumption, Thomastown to arrive for 11am Requiem Mass, followed by interment in St Mary’s New Cemetery, Thomastown, Co Kilkenny.
